Row with Us

Otsego Area Rowing is a small but growing club with a home base on Lake Otsego in Cooperstown NY.  We have a fleet of rowing shells (singles, doubles and quads) available to our members and for rowing instruction, available seasonally at the Otsego Land Trust’s Brookwood Point.  In the off season, we offer land based rowing training and instruction.  We also support adaptive rowing and access to rowing for Veterans, in partnership with other non profits.  If you are new to rowing or new to OAR, please complete our interest form and will will reach out!

OAR Members

Members of OAR have access to our fleet of rowing shells, once they have cleared safety requirements. We seek to help our members grow in skill as rowers as well as connect so as to strengthen our inter generational rowing community on Lake Otsego in Cooperstown. Active members participate in races as well as community rows and team based practice sessions. We also offer off water training programs on ergs for our club.  Returning Members may renew for 2023 by submitting our membership form.  If you are new to OAR, please submit our interest form and we will be in touch!
